The community is fully serviced with a hospital, shopping mall, two community recreation complexes, a post-secondary campus and daily air service. WHAT WE OFFER•       Highly competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.•       Transportation and relocation expense reimbursement to ensure a smooth transition•       Subsidized housing or a housing allowance.•       Isolation allowance•       Annual travel reimbursement•       Allowances for approved courses•       Additional supports that recognize the importance of work-life balance and continuous growth. •       All of the above, and more, are provided in accordance with the Provincial Manitoba Teachers’ Collective Agreement, including the Frontier School Division addendum. WHAT YOU’LL DO•       Facilitate, model and promote identity-affirming, strengths-based programming that meets the appropriate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students through trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches.•       Implement research-based tools for the early identification of programming needs for individuals, small groups, and whole classes, with a focus on early language development, numeracy, literacy, and critical thinking.•       Engage in collaborative student-specific planning with school-based and divisional teams to ensure responsive and equitable learning supports.•       Foster effective partnerships and collaboration between teachers, clinicians, educational assistants, and external agencies ensuring an interdisciplinary, student-centered approach to inclusion and appropriate educational programming.•       Integrate Indigenous ways of Knowing, Being, and Doing into instructional practices and student supports•       Use data-informed decision-making to develop equity-driven student support plans that address systemic barriers and promote meaningful student success.•       Collaborate on the development of student specific plans and implement based on each student’s strengths, needs, and assessment data.•       Provide direct instruction in academic, social, behavioural, and life-skills domains.•       Implement differentiated instruction and evidence-based practices to support student success.•       Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student needs and track growth.•       Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals and learning outcomes.•       Ensure compliance with school division policies, provincial legislation, and educational guidelines.•       Prepare reports for administrators, support teams, and families as required. WHAT YOU BRING•       Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)•       Post-Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Inclusive Education•       Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life•       Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
