REGENT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY Position Title: Elementary Classroom Teacher Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. At RCA, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where classroom excellence and spiritual mentorship prepare students to lead and serve with integrity. Reports to: Principal Overview: The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English. Key Responsibilities: Instructional Excellence: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the BC Ministry of Education’s standards and a Biblical worldview.Classroom Culture: Create a positive environment that encourages student participation and fosters a lifelong love for learning.Assessment & Support: Evaluate student progress through diverse methods and provide individualized support or tutoring to ensure every child reaches their learning goals.Collaboration: Work effectively with parents, students, and colleagues, modeling servant leadership and a collaborative spirit.Professional Growth: Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development to stay current with innovative teaching strategies (such as "Frenchify" techniques). Core Competencies ·        Spiritual Integration: Ability to integrate a Biblical worldview into the BC Ministry curriculum and provide spiritual mentorship.·        Instructional Excellence: Proficiency in teaching core subjects (Math/English) with a focus on student engagement and academic growth.·        Relational Leadership: A servant-hearted approach to building strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.·        Classroom Management: Skill in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters a love for learning.·        Innovative Mindset: Adaptable and eager to implement creative teaching strategies (e.g., "Frenchify") in a fast-paced environment.·        Professionalism: Commitment to continuous professional growth, accurate record-keeping, and alignment with the RCAS Statement of Faith. Target Start Date: SY 2026-2027Headcount: MultipleJob Status: OnsiteJob Type: Full Time / Part TimeFTE: 0.5 - 1.0Work Location: Sullivan / Cloverdale Campus Compensation & Benefits:●       Pay: CA $53,000 - 95,000 annually●       Benefits: Extended Health & Dental, Pension plan available upon eligibility. As a faith-based educational institution, RCAS hires staff whose beliefs and conduct align with our Christian mission, values, and Statement of Faith.
