OPASKWAYAK EDUCATION SERVICES INC.REQUIRES Policy AnalystFull Time – TermExternal PostingPurpose of Job:The Policy Analyst for OES Inc. is expected to conduct research, analyse, and develop existing and new policies that is comprehensive to the policy issues, and current trends and legislation. The PolicyAnalyst will work in collaboration with work groups decision-makers, and stakeholders to analyse andimplement the existing and new policies. They will prepare reports and present, both their finds and proposals, to the decision-makers and stakeholders, during the development of the policy and, the review after implementation of the policy. Qualifications:· Master’s degree in applicable fields is preferred;· Bachelors & diploma in applicable fields are considered;· At least 3 years’ experience in policy analysis;· Research & Analytical thinking skills;· Problem solving & strategic thinking skills;· Knowledge of administrative procedures and office practices;· Policy knowledge;· Time management & organisation skills;· Knowledge and experience using Microsoft software i.e. Microsoft 360, Excel, & Word;· Communication skills:· Clear and concise writing skills,· Presentation skills,· and collaboration skills. Duties & Responsibilities:· Research, analyse, and evaluate existing OES policies and other education policies;· Update & develop OES policies;· Research should be comprehensive of the policy issues, trends, and legislation when developing policies;· Identify the issues that need to be prioritised and addressed in policy;· Work in collaboration with other departments, decision-makers, and stakeholders whendeveloping and reviewing policy;· Monitor and evaluate the outcome of the policy for effectiveness and ensuring equitability after the policy has been implemented, and make improvements;· Write addendums & Issue sheets when necessary.
