Elementary Gifted Teacher

Gilbert Public Schools invites applications for the following position: Elementary Gifted Teacher Location: Settlers Point Elementary School Date Available: 07/20/2026 Purpose Statement: To provide standards-based and differentiated instruction that targets strategies specific to gifted education, with an emphasison enrichment, extensions, questioning, tiered lessons and acceleration, based on what is most appropriate in meeting theneeds of the gifted learner. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.Continuing Professional Development Specific to job requirements. Certificates & Licenses: Valid Arizona Standard Professional Teacher Certificate. Meets all certification requirements for the grade level or subject area, including proper teaching area endorsements.Gifted Endorsement. Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed. Experience: No experience required. Knowledge of PLC’s, Common Core Standards, Gifted Education and knowledge of SpringboardCurriculum helpful.
