Gr. 6 Teacher

Job Qualifications:A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.Strong knowledge of the Cree language would be considered an asset.Knowledge of K-8 Manitoba curriculum and cross curricular planning.Competency in the instruction and assessment of provincial curricula.Excellent classroom management skills.Ability to work well with teachers in a collaborative environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability and experience in the differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of all learners.Ability to build program with a northern perspective.A knowledge and sensitivity to the traditions and aspirations of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.A commitment to culturally proficient education.
