Intervention Teacher – Grade 9 & Secondary ProgramFull-Time | 2026–2027 School YearLittle Red River Reserve School is seeking a dedicated, student-focused Intervention Teacher to support Grade 9 students transitioning to high school and students in the secondary program, beginning on August 24, 2026.The successful candidate will provide targeted academic intervention with a primary focus on Mathematics and English Language Arts, working collaboratively with classroom teachers, administration, and the school's intervention team to improve student achievement, engagement, and graduation success.ResponsibilitiesProvide targeted intervention and academic support for Grade 9 and secondary students, with an emphasis on Mathematics and English Language Arts.Support Grade 9 students in developing the academic, organizational, and learning skills necessary for a successful transition to high school.Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify student needs, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress.Collect, analyze, and maintain student achievement data to inform instructional decisions and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.Assist with the development and implementation of individual learning plans and intervention strategies.Work collaboratively with the school's existing K–8 intervention teachers to ensure continuity of student supports.Maintain positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community members.Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and school activities.Perform other duties as assigned.To ApplyInterested applicants are invited to submit the following documents to director@lrrs.ca Cover letterResumeSaskatchewan Teaching Certificate (or proof of eligibility)Three professional references Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.QualificationsBachelor of Education.Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification).Experience supporting students in literacy and numeracy interventions is preferred.Knowledge of Saskatchewan curriculum, assessment practices, and data-informed instruction.Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and relationship-building skills.Experience working with Indigenous students and knowledge of culturally responsive teaching practices are considered assets.LocationLittle Red River Reserve School is located in central northern Saskatchewan, approximately 40 minutes north of Prince Albert in the Christopher Lake area.
