Granite School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Special Duty Nurse - Health Related Services Date Available: As soon as possibleLocation: Special Education Job Summary: Under the direction of the Health-Related Services Director, the special duty school nurse works with families, medical providers, public health, school administrators, teachers, and other school district staff to bridge health care and education, provide care coordination, direct patient care, advocate for quality student-centered care, and collaborate to design systems that allow individuals and communities to develop their full potential. Required Knowledge & Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.Possess strong technological skills.Works independently with little direct supervision.Accepts responsibility and is self-motivated.Display effective multi-tasking and time management skills. Required Training & Education: Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.Requires one of the following:a valid, unencumbered Utah Registered Nurse License; oran equivalent license in another state. Required Experience: Three or more years of clinical experience preferred.
