Speech Language Pathologist

Stratford Public Schools invites applications for the following: Speech Language Pathologist Location: District Position Summary: The Stratford Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Speech and Language Pathologist to support the diverse communication needs of our elementary students. The successful candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every student achieves their fullest potential. Qualifications: Education:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a closely related field.Licensure/Certification:Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence) is preferred.Experience:Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational or clinical setting.Familiarity with the IEP process and special education regulations.Skills & Competencies:Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills using evidence-based practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Ability to adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and utilizing technology for data management.
