Our academic programming and wrap-around supports are aligned with the Longhouse Values of the Host Nations.Position Summary:The instructor reports to the Office Administration & Employment Training Program Manager and is responsible for delivering courses within the Office Administration & Employment Training Program. This casual teaching role focuses on providing high-quality instruction, supporting students in developing administrative, employment readiness, and digital workplace skills, and maintaining a positive, culturally grounded learning environment. www.necvancouver.org.Qualifications:Any combination of education and work experience as follows will be considered.• Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business, Education, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.• Minimum three years of teaching, training, or professional experience in office administration, employment readiness, or related areas.• Strong digital literacy skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, scheduling tools, and general workplace technologies.• Experience supporting Indigenous adult learners, with knowledge of Indigenous values, communities, and culturally grounded instructional approaches.• Understanding of assessment for learning, including approaches informed by Indigenous perspectives.• Ability to navigate Moodle confidently for online course delivery.• Experience in lesson planning, curriculum delivery, and developing instructional materials.• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Terms:Appointment to this casual position will require a formal criminal record check, the details of which may preclude finalizing an offer of employment. Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous applicants.Closing Date: Open until filled.Start Date: AsapHours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pmSalary: $39.56/hr. as per Collective AgreementPosition: Unionized
