The successful candidate will create an inclusive, active learning environment that promotes physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall student wellness.  This role requires strong instructional practice in movement and skill development, the ability to build positive and motivating relationships with students, and a commitment to supporting the physical, social, and emotional growth of learners with diverse needs. The ideal candidate-Builds strong, respectful relationships with students-Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability-Delivers engaging instruction aligned with the Alberta curriculum-Values culture, diversity, and community partnerships-Is open to working in a First Nation setting using culturally responsive approaches-Collaborates effectively within a team environment Teachers must be eligible for Alberta Teachers’ Certification. New graduates of Bachelor of Education programs are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must provide a Criminal Record Check and an Intervention Record Check as a condition of employment.
