Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council Education Authority (KTCEA) serves five schools and an outreach program in four First Nation communities in Northern Alberta. KTCEA was created as a result of the vision of KTC leadership and Elders to provide a high quality, safe, and effective education system designed by Cree people to serve the needs of Cree students. Our programs and services reflect the unique Cree Language and Identity of the KTC Nations. Our diverse workforce provides education to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Position:  Student Information Specialist Annual Salary: $75,730 - $119,235 Teacher Grid (pending education/experience) Employment Status: Permanent, Full-time Job ID #:  KTCEA.2026.15 Location:  Central Office, Loon River First Nation, AB Closing Date: September 11, 2026  Job Description:      Reporting to the Associate Superintendent Learning Services and Academic Success, this position is responsible for maintaining and administering the Student Information System (SIS) and other supporting systems for all KTCEA schools, and for training and assisting KTCEA personnel in utilizing the SIS  Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Statistics from a recognized university, and a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in systems and data analysis. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be consideredPrior experience in an education setting preferredFluency in Cree is an assetA demonstrated knowledge and understanding of First Nations culture, organizations, and communitiesFamiliarity with student record regulations preferredProficiency in Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPointExtensive knowledge of and prior experience with all PowerSchool apps, PASI, and Nominal RollAbility to train staff in the use of systemsAbility to establish and maintain collaborative relations with staff at all levelsStrong written, verbal and interpersonal skillsAbility to complete projects within specified timeframesStrong problem-solving skillsValid Alberta Drivers’ License and the ability to travel Conditions of Employment:  RCMP/Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Welfare Intervention Record Check (formerly Child Welfare Check, CWIS) submitted prior to commencement of employment Benefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits program that includes health, dental, life insurance, disability, retirement savings and competitive time off provisions, as well as professional development opportunities
