Cobb County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position(s): Part-time 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher Start Date: 09/02/2026 Location: Cooper Middle School Primary Function: To provide instruction for students that enables them to learn and achieve to the maximum of their abilities. Requirements: 1. Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree2. Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate3. Experience: None4. Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learner; student management The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
