South Washington County Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Adult Enrichment Instructor Location: District Wide Date Available: As soon as possible Position Summary: Seeking skilled individuals to teach Adult Enrichment classes and share their expertise and passion with our community. Design courses for adults seeking fun and fulfillment through personal growth, practical knowledge, and skill development. Areas of interest include:Create (Arts, Crafts, & Hobbies)Finance (Money Management & Planning)Fitness (Movement & Recreation)Cook (Culinary Arts & Tasting)Social & Strategy Games (Mahjong, D&D, Cards, & Tabletop Play)Health & Wellness (Mindfulness & Lifestyle) Education, Experience, Knowledge, etc.: Required:Possess the ability to share knowledge clearly and inspiringly; demonstrate skill and teaching experience through provided examples, references, or products.Arrive early for setup and reliably deliver approved class content as agreed upon.Positive Communication: Maintain clear, welcoming, and timely digital, written, and verbal communication with participants and SoWashCo staff—escalating any pre-class issues directly to staff rather than public forums.Demonstrate an appreciation for diversity and maintain a welcoming environment in all interactions.Successfully pass a required background check.Desired:Prior experience teaching adult learners across diverse backgrounds, generations, and learning styles, including English language learners and individuals with developmental disabilities.Possess an understanding of how adults learn new skills.
