Our academic programming and wrap-around supports are aligned with the Longhouse Values of the Host Nations. Position Summary: The instructor will report to the Indigenous Early Childhood Education Program Manager regarding student progress and course delivery. The instructor will provide student support, including assessing and evaluating student learning, and contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning, including online course and Moodle development. The instructor will also perform other related duties as assigned. please refer to our website for more program information: www.necvancouver.org Qualifications:  • A bachelor’s degree, certificate, diploma, or other relevant credential in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. • At least two years of instructor or teaching experience in a related field.  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication skills. • Experience working with Indigenous organizations and applying culturally responsive instructional methodologies. • Experience in using Moodle or other learning management systems is required. • Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning is strongly required.  Terms:  Appointment to this casual position will require a formal criminal record check, the details of which may preclude finalizing an offer of employment. Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous applicants.               Closing Date:             Open until filled.               Start Date: Asap               Hours: 6 hours/class               Salary: $39.56/hr. As per Collective Agreement              Position: Unionized
