mathematics teacher grades 9-12

The Little Red River Education Authority (LRREA) is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the positon of Matheratices grades 9-12 for the Little Red River School.  The LRREA is a First Nations education organization delivering education services to the membership from the Lac La Ronge Indian Band and the Montreal Lake Cree Nation who are resident on the Little Red River Reserves 106 B, C, and D.  The school is a truma senstive school and follows the School That Matters (Reclaiming Youth at Risk) model.  The school is launching on a schools teams approach, with four teams in the school.  The lead of each team will have input into in-school administrtive decision-making.  In addition to the core education program there are other supports in place: (a) a nutrition program providing breakfast and dinner, (b) full time physical education teacher, (c) student support services which includes a social worker, a therapist counselor, two intervention teachers, and a high cost special education teacher, (d) arts education teacher, and (e) a land-based culture program.  Teachers are entitled to regualr preparation time.
