A Clinical Instructor is required from December 7, 2026 –February 15, 2027, and/or May 3, 2027 – July 3, 2027, for the following courses:• NUR 1712 – HCA Practice I: Institutionally Based Caregiving (120 hours)• NUR 1822 – HCA Practice II: Community Based Caregiving (40 hours)• NUR 1832 – HCA Practice III: Transition to Graduation (80 hours) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with active CRNM or CLPNM membership without restrictionsMinimum of five (5) years of nursing experienceExperience in medical-surgical care and one or more of community health, gerontology, palliative care, mental health, or northern nursingStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365Ability to understand and respond to cultural influences and issues affecting Indigenous learners and mature students in northern communitiesCommitment to life-long learning ASSETS: Previous instructional experienceFamiliarity with curriculum development and deliveryAbility to speak an Indigenous languageKnowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Candidates must be legally entitled to work in CanadaSatisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check Applicants are asked to provide a cover letter and resume with their application.
