 SECURITY OFFICER POSITIONFor the 2026/2027 School Year TermMoosomin First Nation Education Council is accepting resumes for a full-time Security Officer for  Chief Moosomin School to start immediately. They will be responsible for protecting the school community from hazards and danger. This can include being aware of any suspicious person entering the school grounds, ensuring the safe flow of traffic within hallways, and intervening in conflicts between students.Minimum Qualifications: ·        Valid Driver’s License with reliable vehicle·         Punctual and reliable·         Experience in Security Industry is an asset·         Clean Criminal Record Check (CPIC)·         Sharp observation skills·         Physical fitness and stamina·         Communication skills·         Integrity·         Good writing skills – many reports/logs and audits are completed on a daily basis·         Empathy·         Attention to detail·         Problem-solving skills·         Critical thinking·         TeamworkPosition Requirements:·        Patrol school site and restrict access to unauthorized persons ·        Help keep sites safe from theft, vandalism and fire·        Be responsible and professional ·        Contribute to the general good image of the community·        Flexible Availability·        Complete daily reports and incident reports·        Protecting students and staff members within the school grounds·        Responding to emergency situations·        Enforcing school rules and regulations·        Safeguarding the school grounds from suspicious people and activity·        Patrol and supervise the school grounds
