OPASKWAYAK EDUCATION SERVICES INC.REQUIRES In/External Job PostingSchool Nurse - Full Time Permanent Purpose of Job:The School Nurse will serve in a pivotal role that bridges health care and education. Grounded by standards of practice, services provided by the school nurse include leadership, School, Community and Public health, care coordination, and quality improvement. The School Nurse will adhere to the Professional Practice, Professional Communication and Ethical Practice set out in the Practice Expectations for RNs as set out by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. Qualifications:• Baccalaureate Degree – Nursing from a recognized Educational Institute.• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and daily access to a vehicle.• Must maintain an Active Registration from the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.• Must have a current certificate in First Aid, CPR, Basic Life Support.• Must have 2 years related experience as a School Nurse or related field in nursing with emphasis on health protection, illness prevention and health promotion. Responsibilities:• Provide first aid and emergency care for students and staff.• Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries.• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate emergency action plans.• Develop and update emergency care procedures.• Develop and maintain individual health care plans for students with medical needs.• Maintain confidential student health records.• Acts as a Liaison between OES and OHA.• Other assigned duties as per job scope.  Deadline: September 23, 2026 @ 4:30 p.m.
