The primary purpose of the position is to serve as Chief, Education and Training Section, and in this capacity provides technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within the organization on all aspects of education and training programs. In addition, trains reservists in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein. Supervisory duties are performed at less than 25 percent. Duties: 1: Plans, directs, controls, and oversees all elements of the Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs. Performs personnel supervisory/management responsibilities. 2: Plans and directs activities in accomplishment of education services program. Conducts staff visits and trains personnel. Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System and performs functional review of data reliability. 3: Provides Education and Training advisory services to commanders and staff on all education and training programs. 4: Periodically inspects activities pertaining to Education and Training for compliance with policies and instructions.
