Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Prince William County Public Schools is inviting applications for the following position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant School Year: 2026-2027 Location: Speech Program Job Summary: Under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, this position assists in supplementing, enhancing and extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, direct activities with students designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) serves students who have identified speech and language disorders and may have other disabilities as well. This is a 10-month position. Qualifications: Minimum - Associate or equivalent Associate degree with coursework in Speech-Language Pathology and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certificate program.Preferred -Bachelor's DegreeBachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related major, including Communication Sciences and Disorders
