Summary This Full-Time position is with Child and Youth Services (CYS) at Anniston Army Depot in Calhoun County, Alabama. A cut-off of 09/29/2026 will be used to send eligible applicants to management. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Regular and FLEX employees (working a minimum of 15 hours) will receive a 100% discount on childcare for their first child and 25% for each additional child. Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is a major United States Army facility for the production and repair of ground combat vehicles, overhaul of Small Arms Weapon Systems. The depot is located in Bynum, Alabama also known as Calhoun County which is 10 miles west of Anniston and it covers 15,200 acres which has been named "The Model City" by Atlanta newspaperman Henry W. Grady for its careful planning in the late 19th century, the city is situated on the slope of Blue Mountain. The central and northern portions of the Depot span over 13,000-acres and serve as an ammunition storage area and the southern side of the Depot is the Southeastern Industrial Area (SIA), a 600-acre industrial operations area with more than 50 buildings and a vehicle test track. Designs, administers and conducts the Foundation, Annual/On-Going training requirements based on course outlines. Conducts training both on-the-job and in classroom settings based on developed training plan. Designs and implements annual CYS program plan to include training goals and objectives, plan to meet individual staff needs, curriculum framework that encompasses the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children/youth. Observes in appropriate program settings throughout all hours of operation to assess and evaluate staff competency and provide feedback. Manages program to budget. Conducts written analyses of budget variances, and prepares justification for funding of program resource requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
