Summary About the Position: This is a Full-Time Seasonal 0400 Mixed - 0403 School Psychologist/0491 School Counselor position for Netzaberg Middle School, located in Grafenwoehr, Germany. Federal employees in Grafenwoehr, Germany are currently entitled to receive a 42% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This position is covered by the Federal Education Association (FEA) bargaining unit. Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA), as one of only two Federally-operated school systems, is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of War (DoW). Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement interventions for struggling students Implement school-wide prevention programs that promote a positive and safe school climate. Counsel students individually and in groups on academic, social, and behavioral skills. Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student needs and recommend interventions. Advise student assistance teams to develop accommodation and intervention plans. Lead professional development activities on child development, learning, and behavior management.
