Principal , elementary school

Candidates making an application for this Principal position will have: (or be eligible for) a N.W.T. Professional Teaching Certificate;N.W.T. Principal Certification (must have completed or be willing to complete the Education Leadership Program);A minimum of  five years’ experience teaching at various levels;Demonstrated successful educational leadership experience;ability to successfully use technology including school-based applications for attendance and student demographics;experience in cross-cultural and multi-grade classrooms; experience in Inclusive Schooling leadership;excellent interpersonal and communication skills;superior administrative and organizational skills. Additional education, including a master’s degree in education, principal and other additional leadership qualifications from other provinces and territories, and experience teaching and leading with BC Curriculum are considered assets.
