We are one of Manitoba’s Top Employers and offer a generous Total Compensation Package with health benefits, a great pension plan along with the opportunity for personal and professional growth including tuition waivers.• NUR 2011 - Nursing Practice III: Acute Care Practice SurgeryIn addition to teaching duties, the instructor will be responsible for classroom management, student supervision and advising, tutoring, maintenance of student records and grades, curriculum review/development, and other administrative tasks. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Registered Nurse with an undergraduate degree in Nursing; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered• Active College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) membership with no restrictions• Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing• Effective time management skills• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Excellent organizational skills• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office 365• Familiarity with issues specific to Indigenous learners and mature students in northern communities• Diverse nursing experience, including medical-surgical, gerontology, OBS, mental health, and northern nursing• Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures• Commitment to life-long learning  ASSETS:• Graduate Nursing Degree or graduate degree in related area• Previous instructional experience• Familiarity with curriculum development and delivery• Ability to speak an Indigenous language CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check *LABOUR MARKET ADJUSTMENTEffective August 1, 2026, nursing Instructors in the Joint Baccalaureate Nursing Program and Diploma in Practical Nursing Program will receive a temporary market supplement of ten dollars sixty-one cents ($10.61) per hour (up to $20,000 per annum, pro-rated for part- time and casual employees) for a period of three (3) years.Applicants are asked to provide a cover letter and resume with their application.
