Summary You will serve as a EDUCATION SPECIALIST in the International Programs Office of NAVAL ACADEMY. Civilian careers-where purpose and patriotism unite!Major Duties: You will coordinates travel abroad arrangements and reservations, and follows up with associated action and documentation for midshipmen, faculty, staff, and high level speakers, military and civilian expert senior advisors, observers, and others. You will serve as a liaison with U.S. Department of State and foreign government personnel, primarily for passport and visa processing and coordination of travel itineraries. You will assist with planning and managing the internal affairs of the office and in the control and coordination of special projects, e.g., organizing international visits and conferences, coordinating seminars, coordinating speaker logistics. You will brief and/or advise staff members or persons outside the International Programs Office on the policies and objectives of the projects/activities. You will receive and coordinate response to mail, phone calls, and visitors to resolve most inquiries pertaining to the financial and budgetary transactions associated with events and projects.
