Counsels all Airmen regarding requirements for unique Air Force educational opportunities such as Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) graduate and education with industry programs, Officer and Enlisted professional military education to include particular emphasis with the NCO and SNCO Academy Multimedia Correspondence courses and the Academic Deferment Program. Provides mass briefings and monitors progress of individuals participating in educational and career enhancement programs and modifies career goals as appropriate. Performs a variety of administrative duties related to the educational counseling program. Maintains program information and prepares a variety of reports or feeder information as required. Prepares/conducts strategic mass-briefings to include newcomers and educational briefings for groups or units to promote educational programs and prepare Airmen for post-service careers.
