SUPERVISORY TRAINING SUPPORT SPECIALIST (EXPEDITIONARY)

Summary About the Position: Serves as the Training Support Chief of between three and six Training Support Teams (TSTs) geographically dispersed in sereval countries within the Expeditionary Training Support Division (ETSD) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army. This position is located in Grafenwoehr, Germany, in the Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz) and in the State of Bavaria (Bayern). The US Army Garrison Grafenwoehr is located in a scenic, rural section approximately 60 miles from Nuernberg. The city of Grafenwoehr lies right outside the gates of the training area and owes much of its prosperity to the soldiers training there. Our communities are truly communities of excellence. Directs and supervises assigned personnel as the points of contact between local Range and Training Complex users. Supervises the development of operational procedures for the assigned Expeditionary Training Support Division (ETSD) Sites. Provides updated and appropriate Trainings Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) support.
