Poundmaker Cree Nation is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year to fill the following Full-Term position at Chief Poundmaker School: GRADE 4 Classroom Teacher  DATE OF POSTING: October 27, 2026                            DEADLINE: November 3, 2026  The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:use appropriate teaching aides and techniques, in order to meet basic Saskatchewan curriculum standards;use a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual needs of students;attend staff/community/school committee/parent-teacher meetings and in-service workshops to develop a greater understanding of community aspirations and improvement of personal teaching competencies;participate in operation of the school extracurricular program;other work-related duties as assigned. The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:Bachelor of Education and a Saskatchewan Professional “A” teaching certificateExcellent classroom management skillsAbility to teach students of varying abilitiesCross-curricular experience is an assetExperience in Fountas & Pinnell Literacy (Leveled Literacy Intervention), Pearson Developmental Reading Assessments (DRA), Mathletics, Nelson Literacy will be considered an asset. Differentiation experience and technology experience and knowledge (i.e. Google Classroom) required.Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector check
